so i preordered the gamea month ago, figured what the hell it is only 40 bucks are you get 2 months free and some kinda item. they had previously promised that release would be in mid march but i guess the 31st is still marsh so i guess its not that bad for an indi game company. hopefully the amazing features list will prove true and this can be the best “sandbox” mmo of all time.

The company owned in part by NBC Universal which also owns SyFy and the Galactica brand, plans on releasing the game later this year. Bigpoint representatives broke the news at GDC today.

Bigpoint maker of over 50 browser app games announced they want to release a Galactica shooter based browser game that requires no download…. hopefully this isnt as fail as it sounds to me because i was quite the fan of BSG(well atlest before everyone though it was a good idea to fly every piece of medical equipment along with enough metal resources to make shelter for everyone into the sun.)

Part of the Star Trek Online community was heaved into an upset recently by an Atari.com promotion that added an extra 30 days of free play time on top of the preexisting 30 days, bringing the total to a whopping 60. Atari.com buyers would also pay $10 less, making it a good deal for anyone still sitting on the proverbial fence. Some players who were unhappy with the sale expressed a feeling of betrayal from Cryptic, saying this was too good a deal too soon after the game’s February 2nd launch. Read the rest of this entry

Crypic will be looking into those useless ship skills in all the ship tiers to make them actually useful at max level, they also plan to increase the level cap with new content as well as add the ability to respec, and hinted towards adding more exotic weapons for end game players.
As we all know at the moment you can only max one and a half admiral skill out of the dozen or so options they give us which doesnt seems anywhere close to enough. Crypic has announced an increase in lvls coming “some time this year” and claims the low skill point cap was intended to give players a learning curve.
Perhaps with these new skill points we can finally max out those skills for the exotic weapons and use them to their full potential. we will also beable to respec our existing chars incase these new weapons we get are not the ones we speced for.

There are over 130 tanks and mobile artillery in this new mmo World of Tanks. The fighting from the tanks point of view looks like it will be similar to the fighting style of the battlefield games but it seems the artillery has a top view map of the entire battle on it and it is illuminated by shooting targets which sounds pretty fun to me personally
From what it looks like depending on where the tank gets hit is determines what happens to it for example hitting the tank in tracks you will make it motionless for some time. By hitting the enemy in the ammunition stowage area you may destroy it at one shot – just like in a real life battle. Aiming and hitting the “proper” most vulnerable tank’s parts is the best way to destroy it.
